Performance Brake Pads
Mintex Xtreme™ Brake Pads - a whole new breed of high-performance pads
Brake Pros is proud to introduce the latest compound from friction giant Mintex - Xtreme™. Born at the track and tuned for street performance, these are the best performing street/autocross/track day pads we have ever tested!
Brake pads can completely change the character of your braking system and should be carefully chosen. There are a multitude of variables to consider when choosing a pad. Rotor temps, usage type and vehicle weight are all important variables that need to be discussed before a pad can be recommended. Revolutionary compounds like Mintex Xtreme mean a much wider application range for cars that see double duty on the street and at track days.

Mintex Xtreme™ Performance Brake Pads
Think Martinsville, Bristol, Dover, Watkins Glen. If you’ve seen orange to white glowing rotors, Mintex Racing was there! Now, years of development have produced a track day worthy pad with a great cold bite and a high friction level to beyond 1200°F (most previous “high performance” pads gave up well before 1100°F). And, they are easier on the rotors, lower in dust and virtually noise-free.
The Xtreme™ compound is highly linear, offering braking torque that is absolutely consistent with pedal effort and temperature to give maximum confidence under braking. First available for our AP Racing and Brake Pros brake kits in the Xtreme™ Motorsport version, many OE replacement applications are being added throughout 2007.

Brake Pros Metal Matrix Brake Pads
Brake Pros proprietary line of Metal Matrix pads are selected from application-specific grades of semi-metallic and ceramic compounds. Their ability to operate at a higher heat range, resulting in less chance of brake fade, is critical when choosing performance pads.
