Switching to a fixed caliper from the factory floating setup drastically increases caliper stiffness and eliminates deflection under heavy braking. As with all AP Racing kits, it is designed to perform with the factory OE master cylinder and is fully compatible with factory ABS subsystems.
The legendary AP Racing 6-Piston aluminum calipers with 15" cross-drilled and slotted two-piece rotors provide a dramatic increase in stopping power, but really shine under repeated hard use where they provide virtually fade free stopping time after time. All Brake Pros Kits are shipped 100% complete with caliper mounting brackets, DOT-compliant stainless steel brake lines , high performance Mintex Xtreme brake pads and all the necessary high-grade installation hardware. Now you can possess the same advanced brake technology preferred in NASCAR, Formula 1, World Rally Car (WRC), Champ Cars, and more at an affordable price.
The Mintex Xtreme Pads supplied with this kit do not compromise wear and noise for superior stopping capability. These pads are good from 0-1300º F and do not squeal like most "high performance" pads. They also work cold, unlike other compromised pads which may leave you shaken up on the first stops of the day.
A matching rear brake kit is also under development.
